For every application a suitable solution
To achieve the highest possible energy yields, solar power plants must adjust their module surface optimally to the current position of the sun. Only this ensures an optimum angle for capturing sunlight and maximum yields can be guaranteed. The angle for capturing sunlight depends on the degree of latitude as well as the season and time of day.
In regions close to the equator, this means between 0˚ and 25˚ degrees north or south latitude, the SkyCarrier is the perfect tracking system for solar power plants in open spaces. The angle of the sun in this region can be up to 90˚. This means that tracking must occur on a horizontal axis, in order to constantly align the photovoltaic modules optimally towards the sun. Therefore the SkyCarrier moves the module surface at an angle of +/- 30° or +/- 60° to the horizontal.
