Grand Prix of Small and Medium Businesses 2009
The “Grand Prix of Small and Medium Businesses” is the business competition with the biggest response in Germany. More than 3.000 enterprises have been nominated for this award.
The Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation, which is based in Leipzig, has been responsible for this nation-wide competition for 15 years now. The main targets of the foundation are promotion of small-scale businesses in industry, service and trading, as well as the promotion of corporate indepence themed “Prospering Business – Strong Economy – More Jobs”.
The performance is evaluated on the basis of the following five criteria:
1. Total development of the company
2. Creation and protection of jobs
3. Modernization and Innovation
4. Commitment to the local region (“corporate citizenship”)
5. Service and customer focus, marketing
The competition has 3 levels, a+f GmbH has successfully reached the 2nd level of the 2009 competition.
