The Delhi International Renewable Energy Conference (DIREC) will take place from 27th till 29th October 2010 in New Delhi, India. The DIREC is already the 4th international Conference to deal with renewable energy. It is he follow-up event of the conferences in Washington 2008, Bejing 2005 and Bonn 2004.
9.000 participants and 250 expert speakers are being expected. Not only high-ranking meetings on government level and a confenrence will take place, but a trade fair for companies of the renewable energy sector is also adjoined to the event. The organisers are expecting 600 exhibitors from 40 countries.
The trade fair focuses on wind power, solar power, bio energy, hydro power, cogeneration, geothermal energy and energy efficiency.
Representatives from politics and industry, investors, scientists, decision makers, buyers and salesmen will meet at the DIREC to establish and develop new initiatives, and to introduce product developments and business opportunities that will facilitate the cooperation between foreign organisations and India.
