2007-07-12 a+f delivers SunCarrier to Spain
a+f GmbH, a company belonging to the GILDEMEISTER group, has received a major order about 150 SunCarrier with a value of around € 31.5 million. A Spanish investor from Madrid has ordered the controlled tracker systems from a+f at the Intersolar 2007, the largest European specialist trade fair for the solar industry in Freiburg.
By spring 2008 the 150 SunCarrier sytems will be installed in the southwest of Spain. Each tracker is 250 square metres in size and will track the sun’s progress using a programmable logic controller (PLC). This increases efficiency by up to 32% compared with fixed systems. a+f will deliver the first SunCarrier installa-tions from August this year. With its SunCarrier 6.0 the Würzburg company sets new standards in the field of solar tracker systems.
At the same time the GILDEMEISTER subsidiary successfully serves the trendset-ting business segment of renewable energy with components, subsidiary systems and complete solar installations. GILDEMEISTER will publish the latest figures for the first half of 2007 on 2 August 2007.
